All the major manufacturers have introduced premium AIOs in 2012, including Apple, HP, Lenovo, and Dell. The best offerings from Dell, housed in their premium XPS lineup, didn’t start shipping until late in 2012 though. This means we also haven’t seen discounts on these beasts until now.
This model is powered by an Ivy Bridge Core i5-3330s processor, a model launched late last year with four cores that clock between 2.7GHz and 3.2GHz while offering reduced power consumption compared to other quad-core chips. You also get 6GB of RAM, a 1TB hard drive, and slot-loading Blu-ray drive.
All the other standard features we’ve come to expect on a modern PC are included, like 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, six USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI video output, media card reader, and more. An optional TV tuner is available and you can even use the gorgeous 27-inch WQHD screen as its own TV thanks to an HDMI input as well.
Our friends at PCMag liked this machine so much it won Best All-In-One Desktop of 2012 and got their Editor’s Choice award; it sure seems like Dell made the right choice in taking their time with the XPS One 27.
Being a new model, we haven’t yet seen any discounts on the XPS One 27 Touch that were worth talking about. Patience proves worthwhile and now we have a combination of $150 instant savings and a massive $300 stackable coupon code that brings the price down on this respectably spec’d model to $1474.99 (with free shipping).
Click here to start at Dell.com. Apply coupon code P5K5054ZBB72CW for total $450 savings. This deal ends soon.
