Google Rolls Out New Look Update For The Play Store
Google’s Play Store has
since its inception went through a few changes – almost all of them
being evolutionary in nature. Navigating around the Store was easy as
well. Anyway, Google thought that wasn’t enough and has starting today
started rolling out a redesigned Google Play store application.
The new design claims to be simple, clean and is also faster compared to
the outgoing version. If you are one of the few people on the planet
who has already received this updated version, you might see that the
revamped design sports larger images and that similarly themed apps and
content are grouped together. Infinite scrolling has been added and you
can keep on scrolling down as items keep on appearing. Google also says
that the entire process of checking out after purchasing an app or
content has been made much simpler as well.
This redesigned app is being rolled out to all Android devices running Android 2.2 and above and should be available to your device as well. Thanks to the pressure an update of this scale puts on Google’s servers, it might take a few weeks for the same to trickle down to your (probably) obscure smartphone. But then, you can always force install one if you know where to go and what to do!....
